This fall, we officially opened doors to our new, 5,000 square foot studio on East 19th Street. In conjunction with the opening, we also launched Exhibition Penthouse – our second experimental gallery space, and the sister site to Exhibition The Barn in Bridgehampton.
Exhibition Penthouse is a rotating curation of artworks, curated by Elena and sourced from her travels across the globe, from places like Marfa, Berlin, Santa Fe and beyond. Alongside a strong representation of works from emerging artists and female artists, the inaugural show at Exhibition Penthouse also includes private label furnishings from our very own F Co Collection designs.
To celebrate the launch of this year-round gallery (Exhibition The Barn is open in the summer months), we hosted friends and clients for a festive bash spanning the Exhibition gallery, our new design studio, and the rooftop terrace upstairs. It was quite the blowout!
The night to remember was filled with heartfelt energy and a sense of discovery – about the artists and artworks, between guests, and of course in moving-and-grooving response to the incredible live mariachis that got us all dancing! Everyone looked fabulous in their festive noir attire, sipping special cocktails thanks to Denning’s Point Distillery. Many thanks to Patrick McMullan’s team for photographing the evening, and to watercolorist Anne Watkins for doing live portraiture of our guests – see her gorgeous paintings here!
Exhibition Penthouse is now open to the public, by appointment. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule a viewing and/or for inquiries. And feel free to download information about works currently on view, as well as Elena’s curatorial statements, here.
