2,000 sq. ft. loft in an iconic Main Street building, with quirky window configurations tailored for a young gallerist, fresh to the West coast from New York. Partial renovation and full cosmetic redecoration. The cool palette is contrasted by the orange-red of the existing architectural steel. The kitchen was replaced and the layout adapted for more flexibility to support a growing collection. The bedroom wall covering is ethereal, the cane and chain metal textured, and the striped mix of vintage chairs patterned. The terraces were covered with Fescue turf and enclosed with a dense hedge for privacy, a nod to the homeowner’s southern roots.
