The Louisiana Museum of Modern Art was the favorite with its incredible art collection perched on a cliff overlooking the sea. The sculpture, architecture and sequence of spaces is off the charts inspiring. Copenhagen’s design sensitivity permeates everywhere, from the urban design to the basic flatware at the corner café.
Noteworthy highlights: the Kunsthal Charlottenborg exhibition space for contemporary art, the Frama Showroom and Olivier Gustav’s gallery.
Nordic cuisine? Breakfast at Dyrehaven, lunch at Admiralgade 26 and repeat visits to Frederik Bille-Brahe ’s establishments Atelier September and Apollo Bar.
